Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our fresh-milled grains and pantry staples.
How do you ensure the freshness of your flour?
All of our flour is stone-milled to order in small batches. We include a 'milled on' date on every bag to ensure you are receiving the freshest possible product with the germ and oils intact.
Where do your grains come from?
We work exclusively with family-run farms across Western Canada and the Northern United States. We provide full transparency by listing the specific farm and farmer's name on every product page.
How should I store my whole grain flour?
Because our flour contains no preservatives and includes the nutritious germ, we recommend storing it in a cool, dry place for short-term use, or in the refrigerator or freezer for long-term freshness.
Do you offer international shipping?
Currently, we ship our grains and flours throughout Canada and the United States. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and your location.
What is your return policy for food items?
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot accept returns on food items. However, if there is an issue with your order or damage during transit, please contact us within 7 days for a resolution.
Are your products certified organic?
Many of our products are certified organic, while others are grown using transitional or non-certified organic practices. You can find specific certification details on each individual product label.
